FPO's "THE PRICE OF POWER" DINNER

Dear Friends and Supporters
,

With the next provincial election just around the corner, Ontario is in the midst of two power struggles: one political, the other about energy itself.

On the energy front, Ontario's energy costs will once again be determined by political process - the same process led to the McGuinty/Wynne gas plant scandal and that has consumed the government's attention for months on end now. That means we'll be paying even more - for less, or even for nothing. On November 1, the price was raised yet again.

On the political front, the only real political opponent to the energy plans shared by all three parties in the legislature, is Freedom Party.

Freedom Party's star candidate in the recent summer Ontario by-elections was none other than Al Gretzky, whose personal opposition to Ontario 'green energy' plans was among his top issues presented during the London West by-election.

I am pleased to announce that Al intends to be Freedom Party's London West candidate in the next provincial general election. As our keynote speaker at our November 23 'Price of Power' dinner event, Al has a personal message that he would like to share with you:

Master of ceremonies Robert Vaughan will once again kick off the evening with Freedom Party's traditional toast to freedom. After dinner, you'll be treated to a delightful evening of entertainment and talk about freedom, electricity, and a political party who's track record on exposing the truth behind Ontario's energy fraud goes back to its very founding: Freedom Party.

"We're in for a $hock with Ontario Hydro", we first warned - back in 1985 when Freedom Party printed and distributed a report predicting the coming electricity price shock.

Today, that shock is just beginning to be felt by the majority of Ontarians, while the parties in the legislature all have plans to increase the political voltage and the PRICE of POWER in Ontario to an even greater extent than today.

Today, as then, affordable reliable electricity has always been a top Freedom Party priority. During the last provincial election, it was only Freedom Party leader Paul McKeever who outlined the right direction to 'affordable electricity'. Paul's incredible TV ads and radio commercial productions have been among Freedom Party's major election attractions. Unlike Kathleen Wynne's 'sorry' tale of gas plant scandals, we're not in the least bit sorry about the growing effect these ads have had. See them all for yourself, on-line.

In addition to a past accurate and honest assessment of Ontario's future power predicament, it is the consistency and principled position of Freedom Party's stand on this and other issues that has attracted candidates like Al to Freedom Party, and hopefully, is also attracting a growing number of supporters like you.

In this regard, I am particularly pleased to announce that we will also be hearing from Andrew Lawton, who hosts his own weekday afternoon broadcast on AM980 Radio in London. Andrew has been making waves with his refreshing and welcome brand of talk-radio.

As a member of a growing number of media reporters and commentators who are beginning to take Freedom party seriously, Andrew plans to share his views on why this may become an even greater trend in the future. Using himself as 'exhibit A,' Andrew is sure to bring a spark of the unexpected to our already exciting and entertaining evening.

Make Saturday November 23 your opportunity to hear our keynote speaker, Al Gretzky, on his recent experience as a Freedom Party candidate and on his personal vision for FP's future. Hear for yourself what both Al and FP leader Paul McKeever have to say on the Price of Power, and on Freedom Party's next move heading into the upcoming election. Hear Andrew Lawton talk about 'talking about' Freedom Party. And of course, if you've ever been to a Freedom Party dinner event before, you already know that there will be other features and surprises.

TIME IS LIMITED. Reserve today! Invite a guest or friend by sharing this invitation.

Al, Paul, Andrew, Robert and I are looking forward to hearing from you soon - and to seeing you on November 23.

Yours in freedom,
Robert Metz

ABOUT FREEDOM PARTY'S FUNDING and FINANCES

(1) As an officially-registered Ontario political party, Freedom Party is financially audited annually and regulated through the authority of Elections Ontario. As such, Freedom Party operates similar to a 'non-profit' association in that it is exempt from paying federal or provincial income taxes on contributions and other sources of revenue.

(2) Freedom Party has no debts as a result of a strict practice to limit spending to current means.
This assures contributors can count on their money being invested in current and future endeavours, not for past ones. Of course, this also limits what the Freedom Party may effectively accomplish during any given campaign period - the limit being the degree of financial resources offered by members and supporters.

(3) Unlike the parties currently in the legislature, Freedom Party receives no government funding or subsidies whatsoever; any potential tax benefits accrue only to contributors themselves and not to the party.
100% of Freedom Party's financial support comes from 100% voluntary contributions and donations.

P.P.S. Freedom Party still opposes banning incandescent lightbulbs.
