“Kathleen Wynne’s running ad portrayed her as committed to seeing big plans through to their conclusion”, says FP leader Paul McKeever.  “Today’s budget – the content of which has been leaked for weeks – proposes a ruinous economic and fiscal future for the people of Ontario.  It can be summed up as a tax, borrow, and spend budget wholly lacking in substantive plans to balance the budget.  Our ad, released today, juxtaposes the fact of Ms Wynne’s commitment to the destructive path to which she – wittingly or unwittingly – is committing Ontario.” 

Freedom Party of Ontario is the only registered political party in the province to publish - annually - a detailed Opposition Budget that shows how the Ontario budget can be balanced.  It also explains why the various approaches championed by the Liberals, PCs, NDP and others cannot work, even in theory.  Freedom Party's 2014 Opposition Budget was released to MPPs on February 4, 2014.  Freedom Party is one of only five political parties to have run a slate of candidates sufficiently large to contest a majority of the seats in Ontario's Legislature.
